How Cre8tive Hands eCards work

Choose a category, personalise your message, and send instantly (or schedule it for later).

Cre8tive Hands eCards are designed to be quick, personal, and genuinely kind. Each card opens like a real greeting card — with a cover illustration and an inside page for your message. Pick an occasion below, choose a design you love, write your message, and send it as a shareable link (perfect for WhatsApp) or by email. You can keep things simple, or add a little extra personality with music and gentle effects like falling confetti or floating hearts.

How it works

  1. Pick an occasion (Birthday, Thank You, Mother’s Day, Sympathy, Get Well, and more).
  2. Choose a design and click Customize to open the editor.
  3. Write your message — short and specific is best. Add the recipient’s name, your name, and a few heartfelt lines.
  4. Share or send instantly by email, WhatsApp, Telegram, or a shareable link — or schedule it for the perfect moment.

Writing tips for eCards

  • Add one personal detail that only you could write (“I loved when we…” / “I appreciate that you always…”).
  • If you’re stuck, pick a message starter below and tweak it in your own voice.
  • Keep it readable — a few warm, specific lines beat a long generic paragraph every time.
  • Match the tone to the person: funny for your best mate, gentle for someone going through a hard time.

A few universal message starters

“Just a little note to say I’m thinking of you — and I hope today is kind to you.”

“Thank you for being you. I really appreciate everything you do, even the things nobody notices.”

“Sending you a big smile and a warm hug. You’ve got this — and I’m cheering you on.”

“I don’t say it enough, but you make my life better. Happy [occasion] — you deserve a brilliant day.”

Tip: if you’re visiting from another country, you might notice that some occasions (like Mother’s Day) fall on different dates. The UK celebrates Mothering Sunday in March, while the US and many other countries celebrate in May. That’s a great excuse to send an extra thoughtful card — or even two.

eCard questions, answered

Quick answers about sending eCards with Cre8tive Hands.

Do I need an account to send an eCard?
No. Pick a design, write your message, and send or share a link straight away. No account, no sign-up, no payment — ever.
How does the recipient open the card?
Every card gets a unique link. You can send it by email directly from the site, open a WhatsApp or Telegram share link, or copy the link and send it however you like. The recipient taps the link and the card opens in their browser — no app, no download, no login required. It works on any phone, tablet, or computer.
Can I add music or effects?
Yes. When you customise your card you can choose a background animation (confetti, hearts, snowfall, and more) and optional music. The recipient can pause or mute with one tap if they prefer. Effects are subtle by design — they add charm without overwhelming your message.
Is it really free?
Yes — completely free. Cre8tive Hands is ad-supported, so there are no subscriptions, no credit card prompts, and no “premium” designs locked behind a paywall. Every card is available to everyone.
What is My Cards?
My Cards is your dashboard for cards created on this phone, tablet, or computer: ready cards, scheduled emails, cards you’ve already sent, opened cards, and Trash. New cards are added there automatically after you click Create, and saved recovery codes let you bring them into My Cards on another device later.
Can I schedule a card for later?
Yes — you can choose a date and time for the email to be sent automatically. Perfect for birthdays: prepare the card a week early and it arrives on the right morning without you having to remember.
What’s the difference between an eCard and a postcard?
An eCard opens like a real greeting card with a cover and inside page — it has more space for your message and a card-opening animation. A postcard is single-sided: one image, a short message, quick and casual. Both are free and work the same way.
